Areas of Oversight

o Collaborate with the Talent platforms to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience to new hires

o Own all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data HRIS and ATS

o Implement new hire orientation presentation & staff welcome photos/email

o Assist employees with benefit elections within system at time of new hire

o Provide employee support during annual open enrollment

o Advise benefit offerings and direct employee questions to proper vendor

o Advise employees on initial questions regarding leaves, i.e. FMLA, STD and LTD

o Direct employee to proper vendor for submitting leave requests

o Track employee leaves and communicates status changes to employee and manager

o Track status changes to ensure that all changes have been reported to payroll

o Prepare status change letters for employees

o Maintain employee records within HRIS

o Complete I-9 form and track expiring documentation

o Frontline employee relations

o Frontline employee support/services

o Assist in the creation of learning and development initiatives

o Assist in creation and execution of staff recognition programs

o Develop employee engagement strategy

o Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience

o Assists with execution of performance reviews, providing technical assistance to managers and employees

o Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws

o Other duties as assigned


Skills & Qualifications

o Associate degree in HR, business, or a related field

o Additional HR training or experience is a plus

o Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness

o Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies

o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed


Location & Commitments

o Location: Southwest Florida (remote)

o This position is full-time (40 hours/week)
